Meeting of the Poland-Japan Foundation with the Rector of PJATK

On July 17, a meeting took place between representatives of the Poland-Japan Foundation and Dr. hab. Jerzy Paweł Nowacki, Professor and Rector of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJATK). Both parties expressed their commitment to developing long-term relations that will contribute to deepening the dialogue between Poland and Japan and to strengthening academic and social cooperation. PJATK is a renowned private university, established in 1994 under an agreement between the governments of Poland and Japan, with the mission of supporting the development of IT education in Poland with the participation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). For over 30 years, the university has been collaborating with leading IT industry experts and implementing international business, scientific, artistic, and social projects. PJATK is among the highest-rated technical universities in the country, maintaining close relations with Japan and conducting joint educational projects, including courses enhancing professional qualifications in IT. In the past, the university served as a center for IT training for Central and Eastern European countries. Currently, it actively supports Ukraine and its students, implementing initiatives to enhance the IT competencies of refugees, offering scholarships and social support, and engaging in digital skills development programs.
