InSight FarEast – Discovering the Heritage of the Far East

The Poland-Japan Foundation, together with Leica Camera Poland, National Geographic Poland, NAMI Foundation, and Kontynenty Magazine, has provided media patronage for the photographic and social project “InSight FarEast”. The project aims to promote the historical and cultural heritage of Far Eastern countries, bringing the history and culture of Japan closer to Poles through a series of seminars, a cycle of articles, and photographic exhibitions. Photographs taken as part of the project have won some of the most prestigious international awards and distinctions, such as the National Geographic Award, Sony World Photography Award, Travel Photographer of the Year, International Photo Awards, and Kuala Lumpur International Portrait Award (more information: www.whynotgallery.org). The project will be implemented over six months, from March to July 2025. The first part (March – May 2025) will take place in Japan, and the second (May – July 2025) in South Korea.
