During the meeting, they discussed prospects for further cooperation and the possibility of implementing joint initiatives, particularly in the field of historical education and cultural projects. Tsuruga holds a unique place in the history of the Polish Siberian Children\u2014it was through its port in 1920\u20131922 that Polish children evacuated from Siberia arrived in Japan, finding care and support here.
