The discussion focused on cooperation prospects, including the implementation of joint projects and support for the newly established think tank of the Poland-Japan Foundation. The Slavic-Eurasian Research Center at Hokkaido University has maintained strong academic and cultural ties with Poland for many years. Polish scholars have participated in its activities as visiting fellows.
