The Poland-Japan Foundation intends to expand its activities in this region in the near future. During discussions with Shuji Koshida, Director of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Hokkaido Prefectural Government, Foundation President Rados\u0142aw Tyszkiewicz presented cooperation plans focusing primarily on cultural projects. Youth exchange initiatives are also being considered, and Seiko Tanigami, Director of the Japan International Cooperation Center branch in Hokkaido, has pledged support in this area.
